My name is Eja, an international student at Wesleyan University from Indonesia. I am pursuing a degree in neuroscience and behavior (NS&B), psychology, and German studies.

My research experience spans diverse topics, from studying suicide and communication among military couples to exploring neuromodulators, inflammation, and cancer development, along with investigating the impact of environmental pollutants on ALS.

Passionate about community-building, I organize campus events like holiday dinners and language tables. I also serve as a peer mentor, fostering connections within and beyond Wesleyan.

In my spare time, I enjoy creating illustrations on Procreate, reading, and exploring the outdoors.

Looking ahead, I aim to utilize my psychology and neuroscience education to delve into aging research, focusing on the biological mechanisms underlying cognitive decline in the elderly.
